Final video produced for the Onboarding Retention project.

Project SCOPE

Senior leadership requested a complete overhaul of our current onboarding approach in an effort to improve our new hire experience. They outlined their main concerns which included the attrition rate of new hires. I proposed creating a short “advertisement-like” video to generate excitement for our pre-boarding email.

RECOMMENDATION

To combat compensable time concerns, I proposed that we utilize the video in our onboarding itself. With limited access to stock footage resources, I used a combination of marketing department assets and other royalty-free resources.

RESULT

Senior leadership, internal communications, and our project team reviewed the video with excitement for the new onboarding experience and said it would generate a positive first impression for new hires.
